The Christ Church School Alumni Association came into being on August 13, 2006, due to the passion and efforts of Graham Heiden, Ayaz Manjee, Ritesh Bafna and Crystan D’Souza Khan, with the aim:

To re-unite the ex-students with the alma mater and their fellow batch mates.
To organize social and educational activities for the Alumnus and present students.
To mobilize resources to support development activities in the school.
To support the School Management and its efforts in ensuring Christ Church School features as one of the leading educational institutes in the country by 2015.

ALUMNI ACTIVITIES

Since that August of 2006……………….

AFT’06: An Intra Alumni Football Tournament, saw 10 boys’ football teams participating, and a girls football team emerging winners over the present girls football team of the school.
Intra-alumni relay on sports day.
Reminiscences 2007: A dinner cum dance, with the theme, ‘Rekindle, Rewind, Remember’ in February 2007, saw a wonderful response. It was a nostalgic evening, leaving many ex-students misty-eyed, especially while singing the School song, “Receiving strength”. The School honoured four ex-students for their contribution in and after leaving School. They are: Wendy Branch, Head Girl, 1957, Ms. Esme Peters (Batch of 1936), oldest ex-student present, Ms. Miriam Malelu (Batch of 1944), the oldest Head Girl present, and Nasir Hussain, Indian Rugby Team Captain.
Showdown 2007: An Intra-School cultural Fest in April 2007, saw over 500 enthusiastic students participating in 15 events like Art, Essay writing, Salad Making, Rangoli, Mehendi, Public speaking etc.

AFT’07: Intra-Alumni Football tournament on the 27th & 28th October 2007.
Inter-House Alumni Relay on the occasion of the Annual Athletic Meet of the School, 27th November 2007.
Reminiscences 2008: Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday 2nd February 2008

EVENTS CONDUCTED IN THE YEAR 2008-2009.

Reminiscences: The Alumni Dinner Dance was held on the first Saturday of February.
AGM: Was held in mid- August.
AFT: Alumni Football Tournament: The contest saw a large number of members turn up to battle it out in the Christ Church grounds.
Intra -Alumni Relay : Was held during the Senior School Sports day.
