- Ovais Darvesh and Moin Darvesh were selected in Cub Class and Sub-Juniors Division to represent Mumbai District Boxing team at the State Boxing Meet to be held at Bhadravati, Chandrapur District. Both returned with gold medals. Ovais Darvesh was also awared the ‘Best Boxer’ prize, from amongst 600 boxers in Maharashtra. Ovais and Moin were also felicitated at a grand ceremony by Indian Olympic winner Vijayendra Singh and Akhil Kumar. The occasion was graced by Milind Deora. Both boys were also given cash awards.
- At the DSO Inter school boxing Md. Areeb Shaikh, Ovais Darvesh, Uraz Khan, Saad Mithaiwala, Khwaja Shaikh, Shahbaz Shaikh, Nihall Bhombal, Jansher Khan, Aamir Khan Moin Darvesh and Amir Siddiqui won gold medals. Faiz Ansari, Altamash Bawa and Aatif Mansuri won silver, while Hamza Sayed, Adil Khan, Mufakkir Shaikh, Darsh Mehta and Saad Faroqui won bronze medals. This was at the Zonal level. At the District level CCS won 4 gold, 3 silver and 2 Bronze medals. Aamir Khan, Md. Saad Mithaiwala, Ovais Darvesh, Khwaja Shaikh won gold and will proceed to Beed district for the State level tournament.
- At the MSSA Inter-school boxing championship, CCS ended up 1st Runner-up, with Md. Saad Mithaiwala, Md. Moin Darvesh, Saad Farooqui, Umar Balwa, Altamash Bawa and Ovais Darvesh, winning gold medals. Hamza Sayed, Mufakkir Shaikh, Khwaja Shaikh, Uraz Khan and Areeb Shaikh won silver, while Adil Khan and Shahbaz Shaikh won bronze medals. The Best Losers Boxing Trophy went to Uraz Khan.
- At the State Level Boxing, Ovais Darvesh, Md. Saad Mithaiwala and Khwaja Shaikh won bronze medals, while Aamir Khan won a silver medal.
