Computer Based Teaching (CBT): CCS in keeping with the latest technology has introduced CBT for Science and Mathematics in all class-rooms for all classes from V to X.

Computer Laboratories: Two fully equipped Computer Labs provide the students every opportunity to learn and develop their skills in this field. The Junior and Senior Computer labs with about 40 computers are equipped with the latest software.

Science Laboratories: On the first floor of the main school building we have the Physics, Chemistry and Biology laboratories that are airy and spacious, very well equipped to cater to developing a scientific bent of mind, among our students.

Audio-Visual Room: The air-conditioned A/V Room with a seating capacity of 120 is equipped with the latest ceiling mounted multi-media projector, equipped with Eureka 3D software for Science and Mathematics for classes V to X. We also have software for all subjects from classes I to X based on the syllabus. The room also serves as the central-server for the computer networking in senior school. Teachers can also draw upon well-equipped library of CDs, content related, as well as documentaries.

Library: The school library is well stocked for all the students from Nursery to class X. Besides course based books, staff and students can find reference books, journals, student based magazines, sports magazines, newspapers and books on

Art Room: The art-room is always abuzz with the students turning out their own masterpieces, and more so in preparation for the various poster competitions and the annual art and craft exhibition. On weekends the more serious artists can see working hard for the Elementary and Intermediate Art examinations.

Teacher Resource Centre: In a quiet corner on the first floor of the main school building is the TRC, equipped with computers and a library of Teacher Reference Books, CDs and documentaries. Throughout the school working hours, you will find teachers preparing their power-point presentations, work-sheets, papers and downloading material for their lessons. Its close proximity to the Senior School staff room means it needs no incentive for the teachers during their free periods to slip into the TRC. The TRC is also equipped with the CBT, teachers use in class, so it’s not a bad idea to familiarize one-self with the software before going to class.

Music Room: For those with a creative bent of mind, the Music Room in the basement provides ample opportunity to develop their musical skills. The room is equipped with two keyboards, a digital piano, a drum-set and guitars, as well as amplifiers.

Gym: Right opposite the music room, is the School Gym, for the students and the staff. It’s a well equipped Gym, with a 21 station personal gym, two tread-mills, weight training equipment, cycles.

School Hall: It’s located at the far end of the main building, and has the school canteen at one end. It’s a multi-purpose hall, used for Karate, Table-tennis, Chess, House Feasts, Interact Charter night, Founders’ Day get together, ICSE farewell party and other such events. It’s a must visit place for visiting ex-students, as the boards of honor gracing the wall of the hall, does bring out feelings of nostalgia and pride.

School Playground: One of the few schools in South and South-Central Mumbai to have its own playground, and isn’t it well exploited by the students. We have our Annual sports, inter-house fixtures, cricket and football training on the field. During the two short breaks on any working day in the school, all exits from the main building lead to one destination, the playground. Well what better way to expend their energy – constructively.

Basketball Court: The well-maintained basketball court, with its fiber-glass boards is another attraction for the students, and with the games room on its periphery, procuring basketballs is not a problem.

Play-Parks: CCS has a lot of greenery, and to add to that every bit of available space is spruced up, and developed into a ‘green zone’. Right next to the BES quarter, where we have our pre-primary is a play-park, catering to a host of activities, with its slides, sand-pit, pond (complete with slides), see-saw, merry-go-rounds and swings. Near the exit towards the petrol pump, is another park, with its jungle gym, which again is a bee-hive of activity, and of course another just behind the stage.
