CCS has always encouraged sports since its inception; and for promoting sports we must thank our Founding Fathers
as we are blessed with a lovely campus, and have a beautiful
sports field, Basketball Court, a lawn that we hope to develop for
tennis, as well as the School Hall (earlier called the ‘shed’) for
a host of indoor games. We have a very healthy competition among
the four Houses, and that gives us the ingredients for competitive
Inter School squads. CCS has been the winners of the MSSA Inter-School Football since the last two years in our respective divisions,
At the Maharashtra Anglo - Indian Schools Football and Basketball
Tournament at the Bishop's School ,Pune, we sent both a boys and a
girls team. The boys created history by reaching the finals for
the first time. We ended Runners-up. Sajjad Kheradia won the
tournament's Best Goalkeeper trophy. We are also Mumbai champions in Karate and the Scouts and Guides have been district champions for over 20 years in a row now, at the Bharat Scouts and Guides Meet. CCS also competes in the Inter-School level in Table Tennis, Tennis, Cricket, Chess, Boxing, Athletics and Swimming where Sanaya Icchaporia has made it a habit of breaking State meet records.
Our Annual Inter-House Athletic Meet is held over three days, Pre-Primary Sports Festival, Junior Schools Athletic Meet and Senior School Athletic Meet. In 2006 we also introduced an Inter-School 4 X 100 Relay, which CCS won.The
Cock House for the year 2008-2009 was Malcolm House.
